What makes a Mennonite mennonite besides pacifism?
Here's a question that I received from a former youth group member... "What makes a Mennonite 'mennonite' besides pacifism?" What do you think? Are there more things that make mennonite christians different from other christians or are we basically the same except for our belief in non-violence? Share your thoughts.

I think Mennonites are more of a traditional type. They stick with the hymns and sing in a beautiful 4-part harmony. Also, I think Mennonites also are more willing to help in the church. For example, when John left, there were a lot of things that needed to be done and I think the people in the church really stepped up. I feel like the church really is like a family.
