The Lord's Prayer

This spring in the weeks between Easter and Pentecost, we focus our attention on the Lord's Prayer. When Jesus' disciples asked Him to teach them to pray, these were his instructions. Many of us know the prayer so well that we have it memorized, yet how many of us take time to think about what it is that we are really praying for when we use this prayer? Over the next several weeks we will take that time as we break things down a bit from week to week and dwell with this teaching from the Sermon on the Mount. Yet I wonder, what is the significance of the Lord's Prayer for you and your journey of faith?
