Why do bad things happen...

We talked some about this during our December edition of The EDGE, but another former youth group member possed this quesiton over Christmas break and I thought that it might be worth spending some more time with. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" or for that matter to anybody. We have an all powerful and loving God and scriptures that tell us that God will protect us. If all of this is true, how is it that bad things still happen? What do you think?
