Week 42 (Oct 12-18): ??
As
you read through these passages of the Bible, reflect upon these
questions individually, through journaling, in pairs, or in small
groups...
1. (10/12) In Mark 8:22-26, we read of Jesus healing a blind man. At first the man is only able to see people that looked like trees walking. Then Jesus fully restored his sight. When have you experienced God's healing in stages or as a process? When have you needed an extra touch from Jesus to be able to see clearly what is going on?
2. Mark, Matthew and Luke all tell of Jesus asking his disciples "Who do people say I am?" And in each case, it is Peter who answers, "The Messiah." This is an old question that remains timely in our day. Who do you hear other people saying that Jesus is? Who do you say that Jesus is? How do you share this with others?
