Week 29 (July 13-19): Psalms 120-123, 125-126, 128-130, 132, 134-136, 146-150, Isaiah 18:1-27:13, 30:1-35:10, Micah 2:1-5:15
As
you read through these passages of the Bible, reflect upon these
questions individually, through journaling, in pairs, or in small
groups...
1. (7/13) Psalm 120:6-7 suggests that the author is living among those who desire war while he desires peace. Do you have similar experiences? If so, describe them. Consider writing these thoughts in the form of a Psalm.
2. Psalm 121:7-8 suggests that God will keep us from all harm. How are we to understand this promise when there many examples of believers who experience harm and even persecution?
3.
May the Lord bless and shape us through our individual reading and corporate study of His word this year.
