The One Year Chronological Bible - Week 32 Reflection Questions

Week 32 (Aug 3-9): ???

As you read through these passages of the Bible, reflect upon these questions individually, through journaling, in pairs, or in small groups...

1. (8/3) In Zephaniah 2, we read of the promise of destruction to Moab and the Ammonites.  We read of the possession of land that the people of Israel will inherit.  What implications do we see of this in our modern context?
2. Zephaniah 3:4 says that her priests profane the sanctuary and do violence to the law.  What did this in entail?  Are there modern parallels to this and what would they be?
3. In 2 Chronicles 35, we read of King Josiah's challenge of King Necho of Egypt.  King Necho claimed to be following the command of God but Josiah chose not to listen.  Describe a modern time in which you heard the voice of God through someone that you did not consider to be a person of faith.  What does this mean for how we engage with "unbelievers?"
4.

May the Lord bless and shape us through our individual reading and corporate study of His word this year.
